This course is designed to develop basic Fast Rope skills for candidates who wish to get the knowledge and confidence to overcome verticals from helicopters.
Course description
The Fast rope techniques course will give you knowledge that will be useful in situations when you must fast overcome verticals from helicopters. Unfortunately for these techniques, you need a special rope “Fast Rope” and gloves, so this knowledge is not so useful in real life. But it is necessary for all SF operators. Instructors will teach you how to do proper descent with “Fast Rope”.

Most importantly, students must have MOTIVATION. The candidate does not have to possess prior experience with rope skills.

- 20s ability of an individual to hold on to the rope in case of unforeseen situations (helicopter oscillation, the predecessor is slower and still on the rope, the rope does not touch the ground-more than 1m from the ground)
- lowering of different tactical equipment (ram, pig’s paw, shield, ..)
- descents in low visibility conditions (at night) from the tower with equipment (use of cam light / light sticks on the rope)
- Training on 14-meter-high training tower

The course theory and practical together is 10 hours.
