This course is designed to develop basic skydiving skills for the candidates who wish to fly. This course include also flying in Wind Tunnel.
Course description
Static-Line Parachuting is an alternative method of getting qualified for the Accelerated Freefall course. One full day of ground-training is all that is required to carry out your first solo parachute jump from 1200m. Your parachute opens automatically by a ‘static-line’ which is attached to the aircraft (so there is no freefall involved initially). You can then fly and land the canopy yourself. As you progress through the parachute training system you can start freefall skydiving from your sixth jump, gradually jumping from higher altitudes. All your skydives are on your own, i.e. solo. However, you will be supervised by a LYNX skydiving instructor on exit and on later descents an instructor will follow you out of the aircraft to observe your exercises.
Requirements and skill prerequisites
The minimum age for the course is 16 years. Most importantly, the student must have MOTIVATION. The candidate does not have to possess prior experience with skydiving. The student must first undergo a medical examination and obtain a “MEDICAL CERTIFICATE FOR A SKYDIVER”.

Methods
The course theory is 21 hours and 8 minutes practical flying in Wind Tunnel. This is followed by the practical part with a minimum of 3 jumps.
Gear
You will need clothing appropriate for climate and conditions. Skydiving equipment is included.
