Dynamic Tactical Firearms 2-Day (I.B.A.)

This 2-day course is designed to develop more advanced skills for the Close Protection Operators who wish to use a pistol and carbine in defensive combat situations. The course is conducted in cooperation with I.B.A. (International Bodyguard Association) instructors and in accordance with their latest, state-of-the-art standards.

Course description

This intensive 2-day course is specifically designed for Close Protection Operators (CPOs) seeking to develop advanced tactical shooting skills with both the pistol and the carbine in a protective operations environment. The course is intended for operators who have successfully completed the Pistol Full Course and Carbine Full Course, or who can demonstrate equivalent training and proficiency.

Day One teaches how to use a pistol in close protection situations. It covers quickly engaging threats, handling the weapon efficiently, moving while under stress, and making decisions in tight and changing environments. Day Two shifts to the carbine. It focuses on using more firepower, managing distance, shooting from different positions, and moving together effectively during high-risk protective operations.

The course is physically demanding and performance-driven, requiring students to move rapidly between firing positions at distances of up to 35 meters while maintaining strict safety and weapon control standards. Candidates must realistically assess their physical fitness and firearms handling skills prior to attending. Approximately 90% of the course consists of practical, scenario-based training. All drills are directly aligned with real-world Close Protection duties, preparing operators to safely and responsibly manage the most challenging tactical shooting situations encountered in executive and protective security environments.

Skill prerequisites and Requirements

The candidate must have previous experience with the firearms (Pistol Full Course and Carbine Full Course or equivalent is minimum). For weapon-related courses, participants are simply asked to sign a clean criminal record statement — there is no need to provide an official certificate.

Methods

The course will be taught using theoretical and practical exercises. The lectures will be conducted in the classroom and on the shooting range. The course will be given with the LYNX TC equipment.

All of these movements are combined throughout the training — with an absolute emphasis on 100% safety.
