Basic Rope techniques 1-Day

This one-day course is designed to equip you with the essential rope skills and confidence needed to take on vertical challenges — whether you’re climbing up, rappelling down, or navigating obstacles in demanding environments.

Course description

During this full-day rope techniques course, participants will acquire a broad range of practical skills applicable in situations that require safe and efficient overcoming of vertical obstacles — such as mountain ascents, evacuations from upper floors of burning buildings, and similar scenarios.

Special emphasis is placed on the use of modern climbing and rescue equipment, as well as on alternative techniques that rely on minimal gear — a rope, a carabiner, and proper knot-tying knowledge. Participants will learn independent rope movement, basic self-rescue techniques, proper use of safety systems, and fundamental communication and teamwork required for vertical maneuvers.

The training is hands-on and scenario-based, making it suitable both for recreational users and as professional development for members of intervention units, security personnel, and anyone who may find themselves in situations where fast and safe navigation of vertical environments is essential — whether in natural or urban settings.

Includes: all necessary equipment. Full-day course with lunch included.
