This course for small groups (1-4 persons) is designed to develop basic skills for the candidates who wish to learn Long Range Shooting procedures and tactics with .50 cal rifles.
Course description
The one-day course (10 hours) is designed to develop basic sniper skills for the candidates who use sniper rifles in their duties (soldiers, police officers, contractors in risk areas) and others (sport shooters in competitions eg FinnSniper, hunters). Candidates will learn how sniper rifles work, the basics of rifle optics, the composition of ammunition and different calibres, the basics of ballistics (internal, external, terminal), they will learn how to properly position the riflescope and zero the weapon at the desired distance. The knowledge gained will improve handling and increase confidence in weapons and the accuracy of hits.

Skill prerequisites and Requirements
The candidate does not have to possess prior experience with firearms but they must be highly motivated. Courses connected with weapons require a clean criminal record certificate.
