“Radio Operator” course gives the candidates the intermediate knowledge how radio technology works. The behaviour of radio waves and different frequencies will be explained, channel and modulation types will be distinguished, antennas and repeaters will be discussed, squelch and encryption types will be explained, coverage calculation will be demonstrated.

Skill prerequisites and Requirements
The candidate does have to possess prior experience with radio communication devices and radio communication protocols (Radio Communications Basic Course).
