This advanced course is designed to improve the skills of individuals who plan to use a pistol or rifle for Self-defense in Home Defense situations. It provides instruction on essential techniques for handling threats in a close-quarters home invasion environment.
Course description
This 3-day course is designed to enhance advanced skills for candidates using handguns or rifles for self-defense. It provides instruction on the fundamentals of operating in close-quarters scenarios, such as home invasions and attempted carjackings, which often occur when you are entering your home.
Participants will train with live ammunition as well as SIMUNITION® Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (FX® marking cartridges). The focus will be on reducing reaction times, improving shooting speed and accuracy, and increasing weapon handling proficiency. A significant portion of the course will address how to create a “Home Defense Space” and effectively defend yourself and your family while armed.
Students will encounter a variety of scenarios and will learn how to respond quickly and accurately to each situation. This course can be repeated to further enhance skills and proficiency. Additionally, participants will experience high-stress, close-quarters shoot/don’t shoot situations, making this an exciting and highly realistic training experience.

Optionally includes; Accommodation is offered in military living containers at the Lynx Center from March through November. (The camp is closed from December to February.).
Skill prerequisites and Requirements
The candidate must have prior experience with firearms. We recommend completing a Tactical Pistol L3 and Tactical Rifle L3 or similar training. The trainee must declare that he has a clean criminal record.

Methods
The course will be taught using theoretical and practical exercises. The lectures will be conducted in the classroom and on the shooting range. The course will be given with the LYNX TC equipment. On this course you will get knowledge how to train in future to prepare your self for self-defence with pistol.
Gear
Just clothing appropriate for climate and conditions. You may also use your own weapons and tactical equipment.
