This basic course is designed to develop skills for the candidates who wish to use a pistol as a primary weapon in a self-defense situations.
Course description
This one day course (7 hrs.) is designed to upgrade basic skills for the candidates who use handguns for self-defense. Candidates will train with real ammunition and with SIMUNITION® Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (FX® marking cartridges) in skills that will reduce reaction time, improve shooting speed with higher accuracy and will increase handling of the pistol. First three hours they will train with pistol, real ammo (9 x 19 mm), mostly how to pull, load and shoot first bullet with pistol in self-defence situations (Condition 3: Chamber empty, full magazine in place, hammer down). Last three hours of training candidates will playing scenarios with FX, this will improve theirs confidence in critical situations. This course is composed of almost 90% practical training.
Skill prerequisites and Requirements
The candidate does not have to possess prior experience with firearms but must be highly motivated. The trainee must declare that he has a clean criminal record.

Methods
The course will be taught using theoretical and practical exercises. The lectures will be conducted in the classroom and on the shooting range. The course will be given with the LYNX TC equipment. On this course you will get knowledge how to train in future to prepare your self for self-defence with pistol.
Gear
Just clothing appropriate for climate and conditions. You may also use your own weapons and tactical equipment.
Weapons: Glock 17 & DELTA M 9x19mm and Glock 17T – FX® or MTX marking cartridges
