Course description
This one-day course (7 hours) is designed to enhance advanced skills for candidates using handguns for self-defense. It provides instruction on the fundamentals of operating in a close-quarters home invasion threat environment. Candidates will train with real ammunition and with SIMUNITION® Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (FX® marking cartridges) in skills that will reduce reaction time, improve shooting speed with higher accuracy and will increase handling of the pistol. A significant portion of this course will focus on creating a “Home Defense Space” and on how to safely and effectively defend yourself and your family while armed. Students will encounter a variety of scenarios and will be taught how to respond to each situation quickly and accurately. This course can be repeated to enhance proficiency. Participants will also experience high-stress and close-quarters shoot/don’t shoot situations. This is an exciting and highly realistic training course. Get ready for an immersive learning experience! This course features nearly 90% hands-on training, ensuring you gain practical skills that you can apply right away.
Skill prerequisites and Requirements
The candidate must have prior experience with firearms. We recommend completing a self-defense course with a Pistol L1 Simunition® or similar training. The trainee must declare that he has a clean criminal record.

Methods
The course will be taught using theoretical and practical exercises. The lectures will be conducted in the classroom and on the shooting range. The course will be given with the LYNX TC equipment. On this course you will get knowledge how to train in future to prepare your self for self-defence with pistol.
Gear
Just clothing appropriate for climate and conditions. You may also use your own weapons and tactical equipment.
